Counselling is a lot like seeing a masseur or physiotherapist. But instead of getting physical relief and increased range you get emotional relief and optimize your psychological range. In short, your wellbeing improves so that you can meet all the demands of your busy day!

Cost

The first home visit is FREE for all clients, and sessions are $90 per hour thereafter. Extra costs are incurred if clients are outside of a 10kilometre radius of the Adelaide CBD.

For those who can get a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from their General Practitioner (GP) the cost is only $10 per hour! As Felicity is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, you are still getting professional expertise without the expense of seeing a psychologist. Just tell your GP about your experience and ask if they can give you a MHTP and refer you to this service. Please remember that if it seems as though you have postnatal depression then your GP may want to refer you to another professional. You might also like to refer your GP to this information brochure.

Of course Felicity understands if you don't want to get a MHCP. With this in mind she has ensured that the hourly rate is very competitive because of a commitment to offering mums a skilled specialist service at an affordable price. The following is the recommended fee for services by a Mental Health Social Worker as set by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW):

	with a MHTP the suggested gap fee for a home visiting service is $16.65 per hour (Felicity's fee is $10 per hour)
	the suggested fee for a standard individual consultation is $200 per hour (Felicity's fee is $90 per hour)

Felicity works Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9-3pm. This service is available to SA residents in Adelaide who live in a 10kilometre radius of the CBD. Extra costs will apply for clients who live outside of this zone.
