Yet another well researched book by Maushart that unveils the seemingly impossible quest of feminine fulfilment.  In this post-feminist era there are lengthy, and sometimes contradictory, lists of what women want.  She suggests at the end that “What women have always wanted is what they now have: the power to shape their own destinies.  What women want next is the wisdom to use that power, without guilt or blaming, to compose richer, more satisfying lives.” Is the question then what women want or what they need?
