The Princess Bitchface Syndrome

review:

"Adolescence is a confusing time of transition", says Dr Michael Carr-Gregg in his conclusion and, while he means FOR the teens and preens themselves, this book will help arm the oh-so-confused-parent of one with practical tips. It's the kind of read that you put down and think, "Oh, that's mostly just commonsense", but it's marshalled in such a way as to help you parent practically. I especially liked the up-to-the-minute ready reference section in the back on the signs of alcohol poisoning and the addresses for helping organisations for us AUSSIES, as so much is written offshore or highlighted on shows like Oprah and these references are not always transferable to our setting.
