I walked in to let bub out of bed and here she is sittingup legs swinging out of the cot she was so cute I cried.http://www.mothersbeheard.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
That made my day it a small thing that will problably happen all the time now but it was the cutest thing. Little day to day things they do makes the hard work and sarafices worth it all!

Default

Our family has been under a lot of stress lately and I often find my wondering if I will be able to face another day. Then my Cheyenne (16mo) will walk up and lay her cheek on my leg and I know why I fight so hard. I have found that a simple gesture, most often unasked for, from my babies makes life worth living again.
Ethan keeps me going by showing me what a smart boy I produced and his cuddles.
One of Cheyenne's cheesy grins always helps too!

DefaultRubs on the back

When my son gives cuddles - he rubs your back - has always done so since he was little. It's rather lovely.

I notice he's starting touch my face gently - as in wonder.

Defaultshaking hands

I saw my larger-than-life fourteen y/o shake hands with a man when introduced the other evening in a new social context and I was gobsmacked with wonder that the boy we have been rearing is showing all the signs of becoming a man. The handshake was firm, there was eye contact and he greeted the newcomer well.

I am so proud!
