TalkingYou could have heard a pin drop...

Imagine the scene busy noisy supermarket in the vegetable department, a loud voice is heard 'Look Mum, brussel sprouts', I LOVE brussel sprouts'.

Sudden silence - people stare at us in wonder. I am bathed in pride.

Yes, MY son, the gourmet, he who loves his vegies!!

SmileLol

I just came across this post this AM and laughing b/c the other day my son did exactly the same thing. The face on the woman in front of the sprouts was priceless and she said to me, "Well, I've never heard that before!". Yes, busting with pride. If only ds2 had a yearning for anything more than 2minute noodles *sigh*http://www.mothersbeheard.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif ........

ds1 is even growing some at the moment. it's great to see him enjoying it

cheers
