I am a mum of 3 and I left an abusive man 6 years ago. I protected my kids from being beaten; standing still while they hid behind me taking every blow that was meant for their little bodies.

I am now living a nightmare, my kids were taken from me by child safety. A single woman isn't allowed to drive a new car or have a laptop and big TV: Why? You must be selling yourself; you are an unfit mother. I was working two jobs to better myself and my family. These people came into my home to examine my life in a few hours, and put my kids in care! It was for a day and now it's been a month. The damage to my fragile family will never be repaired, years of therapy undone and a life time of pain and we are only on day 8. I have never felt such emptiness I cant stop shaking and crying; I want to scream. My kids are frightened. As I have no money I have no solicitor. The kids are going to the ex, the abuser, and mum the protector has no rights. Please, I need as much advice as I can to get my little ones back.
